39 Weeks!

Yes we are finally at 39 weeks!! Read the new this week trust me it tells you what’s been going on this week. I can’t wait for her to get here and I was hoping this would be the last one, but as the week goes on that doesn’t seem to be the case.

New things this week: We are offically homeless! Yes you heard me right. We sold our house last week and we spent the whole week trying to find a new house. We decided that if Elizabeth moves we will consider the house or my water breaks we will have to buy the house! lol It’s crazy to think we are doing all of this at one time, but it’s fine I’m gettig use to just taking things one step at a time.

Cravings: Just with everything else going on I’m just trying to eat meals regularly. Sinve we aren’t at home ever we’ve been doing a lot of eating out and I hope that ends soon.

How am I feeling: If I thought I was sore before I didn’t know what I was talking about. Walking in and out of houses, up and down stairs, and in and out of the car is putting a lot of strain on me. I thought I was having contractions, but Jeff said she was a diva and everyone will have to wait on her.

38 Weeks!!

This weeks is us just getting ready for her arrival. We are crazy people and tried to look at houses this week. We know we won’t be moving until months after she gets here, but who knows. We have someone coming to look at our house.

I got into mom mode and made my first bow!! Since we didn’t really have a TCU bow that she could wear on her way home from the hospital I thought I would make one. Here is my process and final result. I need to actually still buy the clip. Completely forgot about that. Jeff thinks it’s too big, but hey it’s the coming home bow. It should be big! lol. Really it wasn’t suppose to end up this large it kind of just happened. I don’t know why it keeps adding the week picture, but here is all of it.

This is me at 38 weeks. I’m getting pretty big huh??

New things this week: I’ve had bad insomina! I mean it’s been terrible the beginning of the work week. It will need to end since I really should be awake when I am at work. I’m posting this early in the week. I’ll try to update if anything new happens.

Cravings: I haven’t had any cravings this week. Just trying to eat my three meals a day an getting all the water I’m suppose to be drinking in a day. It’s really hard to drink that much water sometimes.

How am I feeling: Moving around is difficult, but since I’m working until the end of this pregnancy there is no way around it. I have a new guy in the office who will take over when I go on maternity leave. He’s been really awesome and helping me with a lot of the work related things that I have a harder time doing.

37 Weeks

We are getting to the end here. We will see if I make it all the way to the end right? Lol I probably will for sure.

I came home Friday to a fully clean house. Jeff had the day off and took time to clean. It was amazing! He even got me roses. I have to say that was the best gift anyone could have ever given me. I loved it completely!

We are meeting a few people up for dinner. I think we are really trying to live it up before Elizabeth gets here. Trying to catch up with everyone we can. It’ll be interesting to see how we will be able to manage our social lie with a little one.

This is me at 37 weeks!

New things this week: Nothing really new this week. I thinned out a little, but no other progress. I’m thinking the doctor now thinks she’ll come on time or late. She is measuring small now instead of ahead. If that makes any sense.

Cravings: I’ve just been hungry period. I heard it happens towards the end and hope it means that I don’t have too long.

How am I feeling: I’ve had a lot of cramping and heartburn. It hasn’t been the best week. It’s all ok since we will have Elizabeth with us soon.

36 Weeks!

Yes you heard that right…. We are less than a month away! Well hopefully. Remember this is all just going off the ESTIMATED due date.

Jeff went out of town this weekend to celebrate Simeroth’s bachelor party. He left his very pregnant wife at home! Yes judge him. lol I spent the weekend hanging out with my family since Deepa and the kids were leaving Sunday. I feel like I don’t get enough time with them at all, but I couldn’t take a day off of work like I normally do when they come into town. At least next time they come it’ll be around the holidays and I’ll have some time off without having to take vacation. Since Jerry was in town I got to see him as well and he got to finally feel the baby kick.

This is me at 36 weeks! I realize I look a little wierd, but go with it.

New things this week: I started have contractions randomly and I was definitely hoping they weren’t the real thing. Since they would go away I know they were just practice ones. I started seeing my doctor every week. She says I’m currently 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. My OB doesn’t think we will make it to our due date. This information makes me nervous and excited all at the same time!

Cravings: Lot of Fruits and veggies. A good chicken salad has tasted wonderful to me! I think that might be why I lost a pound this week. My doctor wasn’t horribly happy with me.

How am I feeling: Still sore. After the massage I was a lot better and hope to kind of stay that way. I know it won’t last long. Moving around is getting a lot harder, but since I plan to work until the end I better just get use to it.

I know a few people have been asking to see Nursery pictures so here they are. Don’t get mad at me because there are a lot. We were able to get all her clothes washed and put away. I’m a crazy person when it comes to hanging clothes. I just like them hanged up more then folded. I know I’ll use them more if I hang them up. The only ones I didn’t really hang up were the newborn things.

Here is the Nursery! The pictures I realize aren’t the best and I’ll have to work on my camera. These were the first ones taken with my camera actually.

35 Weeks

We will be pretty busy this week. We are still going to spend most of the weekend hanging out with Deepa, Joshua, Isaac, and Anjali. We will only have this week left to spend with them before they go back to Norway. I’ve been taking a ton of pictures since I don’t want to miss too much. Sadly, I wish I could hang out with them during the day, but with my maternity leave I can’t take any time off right now.

We are 35 Days away from the arrival of Elizabeth!!! Well her possible arrival date. she will come when ever she pleases I am sure.

Thursday we had our ultrasound appointment. She is 19 inches around 6 lbs right now. She has 4 more weeks to grow and plump up. It was great to see her. Even if it took them an hour. Here is her latest picture. It is really blurry since she wouldn’t stop moving.

This is my picture from 35 weeks. I honestly feel like I’m getting so huge! I know I still have 5 weeks and I’m worried.

New things this week: I’ve started to waddle a little more this week. I can’t believe we will have her here with us next month! We started weekly visits with the OB and we had the ultrasound.

Cravings: I’ve been craving sweet things. It doesn’t really matter what kind of sweet, but anything sweet. Including fruits, juices, and candy. I’ll have to be careful not to over do here at the end.

How am I feeling: The waddling is helping my hip issue. I’m getting to the point picking up something is becoming really difficult. I think I’ve been lucky so far. I’ve had some false labor pains. My body is starting to get ready. I guess I should pack my hospital bag.

34 weeks!!

We went to our first year class and it was interesting to say the least. I’m so glad I took notes and there is a book because we have way to much information floating around in our heads.

My sister and the her kids came into town this week. I’ve been having a blast hanging out with them. Granted I forgot what it was like being around them all the time and how tiring it can all be.

These are my beautiful little nephews and neice. We were having a blast all week playing. This will be Elizabeth’s closest cousin and possibly what my sister and I would want is best friend. I have the nursery all set up to go. We are physically ready for her to get here. She needs to stay in there for a while longer.

This is me at 34 weeks.

As you can tell it’s the same thing I wore when I went to see the kids.

New things this week: We have everything fully set up and we’ve been hanging out with our family this weekend.

Cravings: The watermelon craving is back in full swing.

How am I feeling: Elizabeth has been kicking my ribs really badly this week. I had a little bruise earlier, but it seems to have gone away now. She also has been hitting my hips and causing some pain. It’s all worth it in the end!
